New Beginnings Mission is a Christian faith based relief and development NGO, focused on helping the less fortunate move out of physical, social and spiritual poverty through microenterprise development, education, relief, empowerment, agriculture and food security.
It was incorporated in 2019 as New Beginnings Mission (NBM) and got its NGO status in 2021. it was founded by Pastor Ddumba Givan with the aim of restoring Hope and improving lives the poor motivated with the Love of Christ while caring for their physical, social and spiritual needs. Our mandate is to reach out to hard to reach areas of Uganda.

To invest in the dreams of the poor in Uganda’s underserved communities so that they might be released from physical, social and spiritual poverty.
PROJECT PROGRAM AND ACTIVITIES
1. Child and Education Program
Building affordable Local primary and secondary schools, providing scholarship opportunities, Education quality
2. Micro-enterprise program
Mindset change and Empowerment for women and youth
FAL-Functional adult literacy, Skilling classes, Startup capital to begin small income generating projects, Financial services, Training in financial literacy and business management, social and professional support services to help them work their way out of poverty
3. Christian Humanitarian aid Program
Disaster preparedness and response (Emergency reception and shelter, lifesaving food, clean drinking water, medical care, a hygiene kit, a dignity kit, and other lifesaving essentials),Multi-purpose cash assistance and Address incidence of gender-based violence (GBV) particularly among women and girls who are affected
4. Prison after care program
Prisoner Support, Behavioral change, Medical, psychological, economic and social assistance to victims of torture and members of their family, Education to prisoners’ children, help to families, reconciliation and resettlement
Challenge: we have not yet secured funding from any organization yet.
